KAIDEN BEAR I am the son of Tina and Dennis Canard, and Keith Bear, Grandchild of Dee and David Bear, Melinda and Wayne Lindsey and Jimmy McGirtt. I have participated in football for 4 years, basketball for 4 years, baseball and track for 2 years. I have been a member of the Student Council for 4 years, BETA club for 4 years, Este Cate club for 3 years, National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor society, and Gifted and Talented. During Thanksgiving time, I went to the Muscogee Creek Nation community center to pass out turkeys. In the Christmas time, at the community center, I do an angel gift to a kid of random selection. A few of my favorite memories would have to come from all years of my high school sports career. From the hot days in football to the freezing, and the cold days in the “ice box” (old gym) to the game days and competing. I have made so many connections with my teammates, and their families that I will forever be grateful for. That is what has made my journey unforgettable. My favorite subjects would be, yes of course sports, and then I guess you could say a little math. I would like to say, Thank you to my friends, teammates, and most importantly my family. You have been there along the whole experience, and I would not be where I am if it were not for you guys by my side. With the support and love, I have been able to do things that some kids dream about their whole life. Joshua 1:9 “Be Strong and Courageous, not afraid nor discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” After High School I will be attending the University of Oklahoma. As I continue to find my career path, I will be going into the medical field. Whichever degree I feel my desire is the greatest, is what I will put my mind to. I am thankful for Okemah High School and all the memories, friends, and family that come with it. You will always be a part of me.
